The tacky sublimation paper, has a special sticky layer, which will be activated by heat. Sticky products are ideal for clothing, such as sportswear, swimsuits. You can misalign and change the image during the calendar process of the transfer if a fabric is elastic. The two most important factors on sublimation paper with sticky, are the adhesion (degree of the adhesive) and speed of dry. 1.How to choose the tacky paper to sublimate right?
The sticky grade generally depends on the dark volume or type of the fabric. The adhesive layer has been designed to react differently depending on the color darkness. The degree of adhesion decreases in the ink of the light color, and increases in the ink of the dark color.
The light color is designed to carry a light stickiness for easy takeoff. You may find that the paper does not seem to be adhered to the slippery fabric after pressing out. However, the adequacy worked adequately enough to eliminate ghost or print errors during the heat press.And the dark color requires much more adherence during the transfer.
In other words, with the same paper, the changes of the degree of adhesion with different design, ink loading.
So for dark ink loading, high tacky sublimation paper would be the best choice, and the medium-pull ink charge, use sticky medium, and low ink charge, low tacky. Strong adhesion would not be necessary in Light-color imagines, rather it could impair productivity.
2.How long will the stickiness last?
This is the common theme about sticky paper. Several years ago, we also learned about this topic. But now we have managed to solve it. Our sticky sublimation paper could last for at least 6 months, while others are 3 months.
