Today we are going to share a very important thing of the sublimation paper with our clients, with people who is

related with sublimation industry.

Before ordering large cargo, we always provide free samples for our clients to make the evaluation, combing our

sublimation paper with his/her equipment and ink, finding out how our paper will work in his/her workshop, or his/her

clients’. Sometimes, a few clients got back to us very angrily because they got very bad testing result, which shocked

us a lot, as we always have full confidence in our paper. But in the end, it indeed shocked us a lot, because the result

is truly very bad, and unusual. As a sublimation professional worker, we easily found out that it is not the paper problem

or the ink problem, it is the printing problem, because he printed the paper on the wrong side.

Sublimation paper is one type of coated paper, and most of the sublimation transfer paper comes with right and

wrong side for printing.if you print on wrong side, the transfer will not have best color,will result in a poor transfer

which looks mottled and washed out, and you'll have to do it again. So dye sublimation paper can only be printed

on one side (which is the release side).

Then how to identify the correct printing side ,which side to print on ? That’s a big question.

First of all, let’s talk about the roll sublimation paper. It is very easy because the outside is the printing side in the

roll paper. After you receive the roll paper, you only need to install the paper into your printer as usual, and then start

your work. There will never has a chance that you will print on the wrong side. You will see that it’s very awkward if

you install the roll paper with the wrong side, and unable to print like usual.

Second, let’s talk about the sheet sublimation paper. Printing on the wrong side happens a lot in sheet sublimation paper.

People always ask their supplier “which side to print” , normally the answer is “the brighter side is the printing side” , but

for some people who have bad view , just like me, are incapable of telling the very small difference between two things,

then we still have a big problem in identify the correct side. Today we will share a useful tips with you : wet your thumb

and forefinger and pressing paper into one of its ends, the right side to sublimate it will be stick more firmly to the finger

and this is because it is the side containing the polymer layer that makes it ideal for sublimated. That’s easier than using

our eyes, right ?
