Our OBM sublitextile has 6 types material: Rough pearlescent, Satin pearlescent, Short velvet, Long Velvet, Elastic, Tatami, but not all material is suitable for cutting by cutting plotter. For Long Velvet and Elastic, it is better to cut with scissors.
The process and parameters of cutting OBM by cutter plotter
Create cut contour
In "SignMaster", create cut contour and adjust the contour size appropriately.
The OBM material is soft, you can fix it with a pad.
Test the length of the knife
It is okay when the OBM material is cutting through.
Rough/Satin pearlescent material
Knife length 2
Pressure 200, speed 200; can be increased or decreased as appropriate.
Short velvet material
Knife length 4
Pressure 200, speed 200~250; can be increased or decreased as appropriate.
Tatami material
Knife length 6
Pressure 300, speed 300; can be increased or decreased as appropriate.
Elastic material
Because the material is elastic, the shape may be deformed if cut by cutting plotter.
Not recommended to use cutting plotter.
Long Velvet material
The velvet on the surface is long, it is easy to pull and damage the knife.
Not recommended to use cutting plotter.
