As we known, there are various kinds of t-shirt heat transfer vinyl materials available. We now have PU, PVC,
Printable PU, Glitter, Flock, Hologram, Metallic etc. Today we will discuss the difference between PVC and
1.Heat Transfer Vinylis the desired medium for t-shirt transfer graphics. These PU heat transfer vinyl Rolls tend
to be thinner and more stretchable, so they feel like part of the garment. This soft “hand” is what makes them
so perfect for apparel graphics.
2. In addition to their softness and conform-ability, PU films are OekoTex Standard 100 compliant. They’re kid safe.
Our heat transfer vinyl is Korean quality.
3. Our PU heat transfer vinyl with 35 colors(normal, neon, florescent, and luminous colors). And PVC heat transfer
vinyl with 24 colors. So PU has more colors to your choice.
4. PVC T-shirt heat transfer films are generally thicker and less expensive. Being thicker means they’re less flexible
and don’t quite have as soft a hand as PU.
5.And, as mentioned above, they’re not considered to be as safe for young children who may touch the garment and
its applique. So PVC films should only be used to decorate garments for adult wearers.
6.PVC is less expensive than PU, it resolve costs about 30% less than comparable PU-based material which makes it
a good solution for your customers with tight budgets.
