Since the color dye sublimation printer does not have the problem of ink droplet diffusion, it can achieve good resolution. As for the shortcomings, the thermal sublimation printer uses temperature control. It can only print one primary color at a time, which means that every time a photo is printed, the photo paper must be input three times. Therefore, in terms of speed, the dye-sublimation printer can only describe it as slow.

In the business world, black text output is the most important, but this is precisely the biggest weakness of dye-sublimation printers. Because it mixes solid colors of four colors (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black), it is black. The purity is very low. In addition, the dye-sublimation printers are delicate, extremely sensitive to dust, and have a particularly high temperature during operation, especially when continuously printed.
